Creating Landing Pages

You'll find them under the Marketing section of the admin menu. If you don't see them, be sure to turn on Advanced Features in the upper-right corner.

PREREQUISITE: Integrate with your list service

If you're signing them up to an email list, setup your list integration from Preferences > Email Services .

If you want to sign them up for a webinar, we currently only support WebinarJam for automatic signup. Be sure to enter your WebinarJam API Key in Preferences > Site Settings.

1. Create a New Landing Page

Marketing > Landing Pages. Click the New Landing Page button.

Enter a Title. We suggest using a (possibly shortened) version of your intended Headline.
Selecting a Template is pretty simple:
- If you're just offering some sort of download and have written copy, select Download Offer.
- If you've created a video to entice them to sign up (Video Sales Letter), select Video Offer (even if what you're offering as the bribe is a download).
- If you want people to sign up for a Webinar, select Webinar Signup.
- If you want to do a Sales Letter, select Custom Sales Letter.
Select your Email List or Webinar List.
Enter your Facebook Event Tracking Code to track clicks from Facebook.
Hit the Add Landing Page button.

2. Enter your Landing Page Copy

In all cases, we make suggestions for the format and some language for each area. If you want to preview the page, click the View icon to the right of the tabs (NOT View Your Site at the very top-right corner).

3. Create your Post Signup Page

Like other areas of the WisdomRobot system, this page is built using Sections. You can add any number of:

Formatted Text: for copy
Downloads to supply links to Samples that you've uploaded.
Video for a Sample Video.
Call to Action to create a button for viewing or adding a product to their cart

Things to Consider

A Thank You message.
Most signups include some sort of bribe: a free download, a video, etc. Unless you're delivering that content via an email autoresponder, you should put it on your Post Signup Page.
An upsell to some sort of product or service, with a Call to Action

4. Update your Sign Up Form

If you've defined additional fields to your mailing list, you can add them to the form from here.
