One of the things that the Platinum level subscribers enjoy most about the Wisdom Robot system is the Consulting Calendar. It’s a quick way for you to put some dates on your calendar when you’re on the road and you know you’ll have some free time or at home for a week or two. Fill up your calendars as much as you like and let people come in and pay you to sit in front of a computer or on the phone and help them as much as you can.
Under the Overview page, you’ll see two boxes for Consultation Requiring Approval and Upcoming Consultations.
To setup Consulting Services:
- Go to Consulting and click Services.
- Click New Service.
- Enter a Title, Duration should always be in Minutes. Put in the Price for this service.
- If the Requires Confirmation is checked , when someone signed up for the service, it will generate two (2) emails, one will be sent to you and the other to them saying that the service they selected needs to be confirmed, once you confirm the schedule another email will be sent to customer and will give them the option to pay for the service.
- If the Requires Confirmation is unchecked , they can pay the minute that they have signed up for the slot. So, if you know you are available, it is best to leave it unchecked.
- Enter the Notification Email.
- Description is not necessarily required but it is nice to put in a few words, it will show up in a pop-up box in your website.
- Customer Instructions is very important, this will be in the email and on the website when they sign up. This tells them how you’re going to connect.
Creating the Actual Schedule:
- Go to Consulting and click Schedule
- The five different categories for Status:
- Available – colored Blue, it means nobody has reserved or paid for that schedule.
- Needs Confirmation – colored Red, for those appointments that you require confirmation.
- Awaiting Payment – colored Yellow, waiting for the customer to go back to the site and pay.
- Awaiting Payment Confirmation – colored Orange, rarely seen in the Calendar, only for instance where the payment method might have a delay.
- Confirmed – colored Green, the slot has been paid and confirmed.
Adding an Appointment:
- Go to the Date and click a Time.
- Select the Service from the drop-down box.
- When Recurring is checked , you can select how often the Repeats (Daily, Weekdays, Weekly, Monthly), and the duration of the recurring schedule.
To Add Consulting to the Main Menu
- Go to Content and click Main Menu
- Click Add Menu Item
- Select Consulting Link for Type.
- Enter a Title
- Click Add Menu Item.
What Clients See:
- When they click on your Consulting Link in the Main Menu, it will take them directly to your Consulting Calendar.
- They can change the Time Zone depending on where they are located.
- Clients can only see if the schedule is open for booking, they won’t be able to see the schedules waiting for confirmation, awaiting payment and confirmed schedules with other clients.
- They can sign up and reserve the schedule by clicking on the schedule available. They will need to sign up with their Name, Email Address, Phone, an optional box for what they would like to talk about, their billing and payment information.
- If the appointment needs confirmation, a much simpler form needs to be filled without the payment and billing information.
- You can also add a schedule by logging in to the admin page and Edit an available schedule.
To confirm a Schedule with the client:
- Go to the Admin page and you’ll see under Consulting and Schedule a red notification for you to confirm the schedule.
- Clicking the above notification will give you the option to edit the appointment.
- Clicking on the event itself will pop-up a new window where you can select to Confirm and Request Payment, Confirm and mark as Paid, Reject, Edit, or Delete.
- Once the appointment is confirmed you will have an option to Add to Calendar through iCal or Google Calendar by clicking on the appointment.
- You will also have the option to Delete the appointment wherein you will be warned beforehand. If it is a recurring appointment, you will have additional options to Delete only the appointment, all future appointments in the set or All appointments in the set.
