Getting FedEx API Keys

Here’s how to setup FedEx API keys

  1. Go to www.fedex.com
  2. Go to Learn tab just above page.
  3. Click Developer Resource Center.
  4. Click on FedEx Web Services.
  5. Go directly to Move to Production.
  6. Login with your User ID and Password.
  7. Click Get Production Key Link.
  8. Select No from the question “Do you intend to sell the software?”
  9. Check the box for FedEx Web Services for Shipping.
  10. Select Corporate Developer on the last question and click Continue.
  11. Accept the License Agreement.
  12. Fill in your information on the blanks provided and click Continue.
  13. Click Continue in the Developer Info Field.
  14. Under Confirmation, you will see your Authentication Key and Meter Number. Make sure that you copy these two and keep it somewhere safe. You will also receive a confirmation email with your Production password and directions for executing your FedEx Web Services application in the FedEx Production environment.
