This process is applicable to Physical Products, Online Lesson and Courses.
- Products
- Title – title of the product or the title of the course.
- Price – the price of the product. The taxable box doesn’t apply to Digital Products.
- Specials – for discounts prices and the duration of the discount.
- Creator – the creator or the manufacturer of the product.
- Bullet Points – shows at the very top of the listing, you can put the features or the benefits of the product. Three to six bullet points is good and one line each explaining how it is going the help the customer when they purchase.
- Tagging – generic way of categorizing where customers can search for tags or browse by tags.
- Description – the description of your product that will entice customers to buy.
- Demo Video – It is best to put your videos on Youtube and paste the Youtube URL here because it will give you extra SEO benefits.
- Or Select a Media Library Video - If you wish to use a video that was already uploaded.
- SKU – if you are using SKUs
- Categories – you can select multiple categories by holding command key on a Mac or control key on Windows.
- Photos – you can upload as many photos per product, per lesson as you like. You can drag and drop the images from the desktop or click Select files to locate the image you want to use. Once the images are uploaded, you can drag them around to arrange them in order. The first image will become the default photo, it will show up on search results and product listing pages when people are browsing.
- Purchase
- Custom Note for Order Confirmation Email – If there is something specific that the buyer needs to know when they are buying the product or the lesson or the course. Whatever you type in the box provided will be included in their email receipt after they purchase.
- Conversion/Purchase tracking code – your special tracking code from Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel that will allow you to generate a report about user behavior on your website.
- SEO
- Permalink – the first part is set by the system by default. The second part which is based on the title of your product can be changed and customized that search engines will like.
- Page title – the title that shows up on the tab of the page will be the product tile by title, but you can tweak it and add something special.
- Keywords – a comma separated list of keywords like metatags, meta keywords. Generally, not much of a use in SEO anymore but it’s still an option to add some.
- Description – sometimes used as an option in a search engine result.
